LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 18, 2004

DCX Remarketing (NYSE:DCX) utilized a fleet of body graphics enhanced Dodge Durango SUVs as part of the tip off for the 2004 Stars & Cars promotional efforts beginning with the NBA All-Star Weekend, held February 13-15 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

During the weeks leading up to the NBA All-Star Weekend, DaimlerChrysler Remarketing supported the market wide NBA apparel and merchandise promotions in conjunction with Fireworks Productions using an array of Durango that featured NBA All Stars emblazoned on the SUVs.

"We teamed up with Fireworks Production to widen the exposure of our Chrysler Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles for this year's market outreach programs surrounding the NBA All-Star Weekend," said Robin Cursi, marketing & special events manager for DaimlerChrysler Remarketing. "The association with one of the year's most recognized sporting events and it's leading NBA All-Star Players like Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is one more way we're able to integrate the Stars & Cars program." The traveling Durango's, complete with NBA player wrap around body graphics, featured All-Stars such as Shaquille O'Neal, Steve Francis and Paul Pierce and were each customized to a star's perfection. These vehicles are selected from the pool of recently returned low mileage, high quality fleet vehicles. Each of the Durango's, before they are sold, will go through a 125 point safety and quality inspection at a Five Star Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep dealership and then awarded an eight year, 80,000 mile warranty. This is in addition to the value added customization, which includes state of the art electronics, upgraded upholstery, and special lamp, light and bumper accessorizing that are added by a trained "Specialty Vehicle Team."

"These Durango's are brand spankin' used," said Cursi, "and in reality offer savvy consumers a higher purchase value with all of the genuine Mopar parts that have been added."

The Dodge Durango's were seen around the Los Angeles area at many high profile NBA All-Star Weekend Activities.
